Geek.com has a great article on how television production companies are using virtual reality to block out sets. By using the Unreal Engine, they are able to set up shots ahead of time without physically building the sets, saving money and time. Doing this digitally also lets them discover problems they might face in setting up shots, which can prevent them from having to rebuild sets, a costly and time consuming issue.
